How To Use Facebook Messenger Group Calling With Up To 50 People

At its F8 developer conference, Mark Zuckerberg explained Facebook’s 10 year roadmap. In the shorter version of Facebook’s roadmap for the next 5 years, Facebook Messenger took a prominent seat. To make Messenger more advanced, the social networking website rolled out Messenger Bots to let the users easily interact with businesses and different services.
Facebook’s Messenger service has about 900 million active users every month and the company is looking for ways to increase this number. To make it a complete communications solution for you, Facebook has now announced the rollout of group calling.

I already use the Messenger Calling feature from time to time but I prefer Skype and Google Hangout due to its group calling facility. Now, with the new addition, Messenger has become a complete Skype and Hangouts competitor.
Facebook began offering voice calling facility in 2013 and it was rolled out for everyone in April 2014. Last year, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that Messenger is making 10% of all the mobile VoIP calls globally.
After ignoring options of making money from Messenger for years, it looks like Facebook is looking to make the service even bigger and popular to make it really profitable when the time comes. In another similar step to push messaging on Facebook, the company started to allow all Facebook users to chat with each other even if they aren’t friends.
Facebook has announced that the update will be rolled out over the next 24 hours. Currently, you can have as much as 50 people in one group call. This big number shows that the social networking website is targeting the business crowd with this new rollout. While you might not need to talk to 50 people simultaneously, it’s worth checking out to chat with your friends and family.

How to use Facebook Messenger Group Calling feature?

If you are wondering how to use Facebook Messenger group calling feature, let me tell you that it’s as simple as group calling on Skype or Hangout.
All you need to do is open any group on Facebook. Look for the Phone icon in the top right and just tap on it. You’ll get a popup prompting you to start a group call and options to choose the group members who can join once the call begins.
After choosing people, you need to hit the Start Call button. At any time, you can see who is in call and who is not.
This voice calling capability in Messenger is rolling out over the next 24 years. If you are not having the feature yet, make sure that you are running the latest version of Facebook Messenger app. I tried Messenger group calling and the call quality was just same as the normal one-to-one Messenger call.
The only feature that’s still missing is the group video calling and we can expect this missing feature to come soon. With that addition, Facebook Messenger could easily serve as an alternative to Skype and Google Hangout as it’ll allow you to make easy conference calls with people whose numbers you don’t have.
Whoever might be the winner in the VoIP race, this could surely mean the end of vintage telephonic voice calling as we know it.

How To Use Facebook’s Messenger Bots Right Now?

How To Use Facebook’s Messenger Bots Right Now?

If you are scratching your brains wondering how bots on Facebook look like and how do they operate, calm down. These are simple bots dedicated to a particular service and you can use them right now.
But, at the moment, they are pretty confusing and unintuitive. Many times the bots don’t know what to do and you end up struggling getting any work done.
To make things easier for you, I tried Facebook Messenger Bots myself. I started with Facebook’s very own F8 bot. You can access it via m.me/f8bot. As you visit this URL on your phone, you’ll be asked to choose Messenger or Facebook app to proceed.
I chose Messenger and here are the screenshots of my chat with F8 Messenger Bot.

Next, I decided to try out another Facebook Messenger Bot that was showed off during the F8 keynote. Yes, I’m talking about Poncho, the weather-bot that pretends to be a cat. Chatting to Poncho was better than my F8 bot experience. You can access Poncho via http://m.me/hiponcho.
You can find Poncho and other bots like CNN, WSJ etc. at botlist.co and use them right away.
Here’s how my chat with Poncho turned out:

How to install external apps on NOKIA 220 and NOKIA 225.

HELLO Guys ,WELCOME.TODAY ,I am going to show you how to install apps on NOKIA 220 and 225.

I have seen a lot of people getting trouble in finding and installing apps for their Nokia 225 & 220. To help them I made this beautiful tutorial, explaining everything about the phone. If you bought this phone then you may know that you cannot install any java based application in it. But why?

IT is so because,Nokia 225 and 220 uses 30+ series Operating system for mobile devices, which is not a Java OS and it is compiled using C and C++. As a result, you cannot install any Java (.jar) apps.

Nokia 30+ series is an operating system which is developed and used by only MICROSOFT. These mobiles are powered by mediatek chipest.
  • These Phones use MRE apps and the Default file extension of Nokia series 30+ is .Vxp.
Some apps may not work. This is a RAR FILE.

How to share pdf,Documetn, winrar and .exe files through Whatsapp!

How to share pdf,Documetn, winrar and .exe files through Whatsapp!

Whats app is a part of our social life. We share everything on whats app. We wish, greet our loving one on whats app. We invite our friends for a party on whats app .we share our mood or feeling on whats app. Basically it is way of sharing our thoughts and thing with others. We use this so called social app for sending photos, videos, greeting, wishes, songs, jokes, stories etc. These social apps like whats app are now becoming a part of our life. But sometimes we face problems using these app. talking precisely about whats app like

Problems faced by the whatsapp users:
  • Users can share videos, images and audio only. It doesn’t come with any built-in function that can allow users to share Doc, PDF, APK and more.
  • The size of any file to be share shouldn’t exceed 16 MB. It means videos over 16 MB cannot be shared. However, Whatsapp comes with functionality to compress or trim video files before you share.  However, it still has limitation. Sending very large videos is not possible.
  • While sending images, Whatsapp compresses and sends it to the recipient. Though you cannot find any difference on mobile, one can notice the quality reduction in computer. It will reduce the quality if you send HD images.
If you share or send an image on Whatsapp then the resolution of that image will be compromised and when your friend will view that image or video file on his computer then it will appear with bad resolution. Similarly when you share a video on Whatsapp with your friends or family then also you got the same problem. The second problem in sharing a video is the size.Whatsapp allows sharing of a video not more than 16 MB. A video whose size is larger than 16 MB will not be shared on Whatsapp. Now we have solution for all these problem. Today we will tell you the way through which you can counter all these problems once for all. We will tell you how you can send and share pdf files, zip files and big audio and video files without compromising with the quality of your original files.

Steps to follow :
  1. First of all, download and install official Dropboxapp. There is no problem if you have Dropbox account already. Signup for an account if you don’t have one. Login to it.
  2. Then download and install CloudSend. When you launch the app, you will go through a quick tour. All you have to swipe from right to left on your device’s screen. It will ask you to authorize this app by the end. All you have to click Allow. In your Dropbox folder, a folder will automatically be created named “CloudSend”. You will be able to control it completely. Now you can close the app after completing the authorization.
  3. In order to send any type of file, press and hold the file through file manager and choose Share button.
  4. Choose CloudSend option from popup.
  5. Hold on while the selected file is being uploaded on CloudSend folder created on Dropbox. The duration of file transfer vary according to the connection speed and size of file. The best part of CloudSend is that it doesn’t have any restrictions regarding file size. You will have two options after completion of upload – Copy and Share. Either you can share file or copy the link of any file directly.
  6. When you select Share, you will be able to share your file in different platforms like Email, Whatsapp, SMS, Google+, WeChat, Facebook and other applications your device have. Select WhatsApp.
  7. It will prompt you to choose WhatsApp contacts you want to share that link with. Share that link with your desired recipient. It will show link with file name. If file is supported on your friend’s device, it will show the preview of file. Or file can also be downloaded through other browser.

How to use Google Offline Maps: Navigate without an internet connection

How to use Google Offline Maps: Navigate without an internet connection.

How to use Google Offline Maps: Downloading a map

The way that the Offline feature works is by downloading the actual map for a locale directly onto your smartphone. Obviously you’ll want to do this before you set off, as a large map could eat into your data plan and of course the reason you’re downloading it is that you might not have a signal where you’re going. Google has limited the size of the map you can install on your device, but as this currently stands at 120,000 square kilometres, so you should be good for most trips.
To download a map you’ll first need to open the Maps app on your smartphone or tablet, then search for the area, city, desolate wasteland that you intend to visit. When you find the place you’ll see its name in a white area at the bottom of the screen. Tap on this and the area will slide up, revealing more details about the locality. To save it to your device simply tap the three dots in the top right corner of the screen and you’ll see the option Download offline area appear if you’re using an Android phone or Save Offline map for iOS users. Tap this, confirm your selection, and the map will be installed on your handset.
Use Google Maps offline

How to use Google Offline Maps: navigation

As Android is a Google product, the advanced offline features have been implemented on this platform first, with no doubt similar to follow on iOS. To get started open up the Maps app and tap on the blue circle in the bottom right corner. This brings up the search option where you can enter your start and finish points. At the moment the offline mode will only allow you to have driving navigation, so walking or public transport are out, and as you might have already worked out there will be no traffic information available either. Once you’ve entered the route details tap the blue circle with the arrow in it and you’ll now be able to drive to your destination without the need of an internet connection.

iOS users are currently limited to viewing only, as navigation and route calculations are still to be introduced. To find the locally stored maps on your iOS device tap the three lines menu option again and then tap Your places and scroll down to offline maps. Now you can use the information in much the same way as a paper map, albeit without the need to unfold it out to something resembling a blanket. Keep an eye out for updates to Maps on iOS, as the navigation feature will surely arrive pretty soon.

How to set up a new Windows Phone smartphone: email, contacts, apps and more

How to set up a new Windows Phone smartphone: email, contacts, apps and more.

Whether your new Windows Phone is your first smartphone, an upgrade or you're coming from Android or an iPhone, here's how to get set up including your email, contacts, apps and more. (This guide is written for Windows Phone 8 devices, including 8.1, but it's very similar if you have a phone running Windows 10.)
First, charge up your new phone by connecting the charger. If one wasn't supplied, use the USB cable to connect the phone to another USB charger or - failing that - the USB port on your laptop or PC. The computer will need to be on for the smartphone to charge.
Also, use the supplied SIM tray tool - or the tool-less mechanism for removing the tray - and insert your SIM card. If your SIM doesn't fit, you can cut it down or request a new SIM from your mobile provider.
How to set up a Windows Phone

How to set up a new Windows Phone

Step 1. Hold down the power button - usually the middle one on the right-hand side, but check the manual - until you feel the phone vibrate. It should now turn on.
Step 2. Follow the instructions on screen. Choose your language, accept the Terms of Use, and connect to a Wi-Fi network. Choose the name of the network that matches your wireless router, and then enter the password. On the next screen you can choose whether or not to use WiFi Sense. This helps reduce the amount of mobile data you use by automatically connecting to Wi-Fi wherever possible.

Step 3. On the next screen, you can choose to accept the recommended phone settings or select them yourself. We recommend tapping 'custom' and then deciding if you want apps to auto update, send information to Microsoft and more.

Step 4. Set the time, region and date. We recommend leaving the box unchecked for 'Send my location to Microsoft'.

Step 5. Now it's time to enter your Microsoft ID. This is a Microsoft account that's needed for keeping your stuff in sync and saving your photos, documents, settings and other things in a backup so they can be restored if anything goes wrong.
If you don't already have a Microsoft account, you can create one now on the phone. You just need an email address and to choose a password.
How to set up a Windows Phone
Step 6. When you've created or signed in with your account, you'll be asked if you want to automatically upload photos and videos. It's a good idea to allow this, as it means you don't have to think about transferring or backing up photos and videos you take with your phone. They will be sent wirelessly to your free OneDrive storage, which is part of the free Microsoft account.
We recommend choosing Best quality for both.
How to set up a Windows Phone
Step 7. That's the basic set up finished. If you already had a Microsoft account, your email, contacts and everything else associated with the account should be synching already.
You should now see the home screen of your new Windows Phone. Many of the 'tiles' are live which means the information they show is right up to date.
You can arrange this 'Start' screen however you like. Just tap and hold on a tile and then tap the arrow to resize the tile or tap the little pin icon to remove it altogether. You can drag the selected tile to a different position on the screen and it will stay there. Once you're finished, tap the Windows icon at the bottom of the screen.
How to set up a Windows Phone
Step 8. To set up other email account, swipe from the right to the left of the screen to show all the apps. Tap on a letter to bring up the alphabet, then tap on S to find Settings. Tap on Settings and then email+accounts.
Tap 'add an account' and choose one of the options. If your email isn't listed, then tap 'other account'. If your email provider is in the list, you'll need to enter only your email address and password. For other accounts you might have to search for the settings using Google.
Most email accounts also include contacts, which means adding a Gmail or iCloud account will also import contacts.
Step 9. Back in the Settings menu, tap on 'lock screen'. You can choose various options, but the most important is to scroll down and tap the slider under 'Password'. You can now enter a code which you'll use to unlock the phone when you turn it on. A new option will appear where you can choose whether to ask for the password every time, or only after a certain amount of time has elapsed.
How to set up a Windows Phone
Step 10. To install new apps, press the Windows button at the bottom to return to the Start screen. Look for the Store icon - a bag with the Windows logo - and tap it. You can tap the magnifying glass icon to search for apps, such as Facebook, Whatsapp, Twitter and others, or you can use the charts to see what's popular in both the paid and free sections.
